"I bet you got a lot of hate mail because you ruined everything for Dan Lyons and all the readers of the fake Steve Jobs blog.
I hope you don't take it too personally, Apple fans can be pretty mean. It can't be easy, I totally understand how rough this might be for you...
I think the best thing you can do, (and I say this because I care about how you must be feeling right now), is quit your job and never post anything on, or go near the internet ever again.
Your name is going to be enshrined in the annals of internet history as a spoiler, as someone who put his petty little article (not my view) before the happiness of hundreds of thousands of others.
People (not me) who never even knew you before this, genuinely hate you now, and I think you should walk away, for good, for the sake of your own happiness. You don't have to be a hero, it'll get to you after a while, you'll never be able to Google yourself without a stream of hate pouring out of your screen, ruining your life. You should quit now, seriously.
